Multiblocks
Some of the most powerful machines in Tech Reborn are Multiblocks. A multiblock is a machine made of multiple blocks arranged in a specific pattern.
The Controller
Every multiblock has a central Controller block. This is the block you interact with to insert items, provide power, and retrieve outputs. The other blocks that make up the structure are usually Casings.
Tip: Use JEI! If you click on the Controller block in JEI, you can click the "Show Structure" button to see a holographic overlay of how to build the multiblock in the world.
Machine Casings
The tier of your multiblock often depends on the type of Machine Casing used in its structure. There are three tiers of casings:
- Basic Machine Casing
- Advanced Machine Casing
- Industrial Machine Casing
Heat Mechanics (Industrial Blast Furnace)
The Industrial Blast Furnace (IBF) uses a unique heat mechanic. Its recipes require a minimum heat value to process.
You can increase the heat of your IBF by:
- Using higher tier casings (e.g., Advanced or Industrial instead of Basic).
- Placing Lava or other hot fluids in the center column of the multiblock.
Better casings and more lava = more heat = more advanced recipes unlocked.
