Transformer Upgrade

Transformer Upgrade is a machine upgrade in Tech Reborn. Each installed copy raises the machine's accepted voltage tier by one, preventing voltage explosions when supplying higher-tier power.

Effect

• Each Transformer Upgrade installed raises the machine's extraTier by 1.
• A standard LV machine (tier 0) with one Transformer Upgrade accepts MV power. With two, it accepts HV, and so on.
• Stacks with multiple copies.

Notes

• Required when running an Overclocker Upgrade build that pushes power consumption above the machine's base input rate.
• Does not change energy consumption — only the voltage tier accepted on the input side.
